The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Soldiers Group

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with extensive world-building, a diverse cast of characters, and a thrilling plot featuring celestial beings, fiends, and dark forces expanding in strength within the urban setting.

Note: Revealing details for Episode 3 of this adventure follow below.

The Warrior Group Revealed

Episode 3 concluded with a major cliffhanger and presented the initial group of characters who will split off from the central cast to embark on their own adventure, distinct from the other two tables.

The Soldiers table consists of the determined fighter (portrayed by Travis), the agile character (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).

Why Split the Party?

Given 13 cast members, it was evident from the beginning that maintaining everyone at a single group would be unfeasible.

This explains, the opening chapters of the new season serve as an Introduction, weaving together the personal journeys before branching into three smaller tables: Fighters, Schemers, and Seekers.

What Defines the Combat Party

According to the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who enjoy a typically action-packed fight-heavy gameplay experience where diplomatic options are few and far between.

At first glance, characters like the reluctant priest the cleric might look mismatched, but the developments of the third episode make it clear why these particular heroes are ideally matched for the Soldiers table.

Motivations for Departure

For one thing, the team knows exactly where to go next after a brutal first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

Casimir of the deceased character—whose death initiated the story’s plot—used the enemy for his personal gain, breaking into Thjazi’s hideout, striking the character, and swiping all the powerful objects to auction.

The traitor then settled his obligations and fled to a secure base in the remote area, north of the city, with Teor’s brother close behind.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each character has a specific drive to leave the city the urban setting:

  • The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and trusted friend, seeks retribution.
  • Kattigan knows the region and advises that it is a dangerous place.
  • The warrior and Wicander, having defied his relatives’ demands to execute the target and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
  • Yet, their reputation as key figures in the powerful family could enable the team enter places they normally couldn’t.
  • Moreover, Teor vowed a life debt to The cleric for his rescue and will now follow him everywhere.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are hunted by the authorities that rule the setting for a multiple motives, making remaining behind no longer safe:

  • The rogue and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The strong figure and Wicander turned against House Halovar and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by House Halovar.

This leaves them little choice but to head to the remote area in quest for Casimir.

From the latest episode’s Cooldown, we find out that the warrior group will be absent next week, leaving the other eight cast members to round up the Seekers and Planners groups.
